Once we receive your email address, we use it solely to notify you in the above manner. We do not associate your email address with any other information about you, unless you are a Member, in which case we associate it with your name and membership number. We destroy our paper sign-up sheets after our events. All email addresses are stored on our Mailchimp account online, and not on a hard drive or computer anywhere else. Only two members of our committee have the password to access this Mailchimp account – the Chairperson and the Secretary. We do not share your email address with any other person or organisation. We do not use your email address in conjunction with any ‘automated decisions’ – we use it solely to send you our personally-typed-up newsletters.
If you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time, you can do so from any email. The ‘unsubscribe’ button is at the bottom of each one, and you will be unsubscribed immediately and automatically.
